Schulte v. 26 Capital: Fee Dispute in SPAC Wind-Down
In Schulte v. 26 Capital, the prominent law firm Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP has filed a lawsuit against 26 Capital Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), in the Delaware Court of Chancery. The firm is seeking to recover approximately $1.9 million in unpaid legal fees for services rendered in connection with 26 Capital’s failed merger with the Philippines-based casino operator, Okada Manila.
