Preschool Program
Daily Activities
Our preschoolers take part in a variety of thoughtfully planned activities each day to support their learning and development:
Circle Time – Children explore letters, numbers, colors, shapes, sign language, and basic Spanish in an engaging group setting.
Language & Literacy – Daily reading, nursery rhymes, and early literacy games help build vocabulary, comprehension, and print awareness.
Early Math Skills – Fun, hands-on activities introduce number concepts, patterns, and problem-solving to strengthen foundational math skills.
Creative Arts – We emphasize process-based art, allowing children to freely express themselves and develop creativity through regular art projects.
Science & Sensory Play – Safe exploration and hands-on experiments encourage curiosity and introduce basic science concepts.
Motor Skills Development – Activities are designed to build both fine motor (small movements) and gross motor (large movements) skills essential for growth.
At Salem Fields Learning Center, play is at the heart of learning. We create a nurturing environment where children grow through exploration, imagination, and meaningful interaction with their peers and teachers
